The Grand River Water Walk is a local grassroots event that relies on private donations to help cover costs like first aid supplies, food/accommodations for core walkers, and Indigenous ceremonial items.

Donate at water ceremonies

  • We gladly accept donations at our water ceremonies held each month along the Grand River in Kitchener. See our Facebook page for details.

Spaghetti Fundraising Dinner (May 3)

  • We will be holding a community feast that includes t-shirt sales, Anishinaabe teachings, and a round dance. Admission is by donation at Stirling Mennonite Church, Kitchener. For more info, subscribe here

Facebook Auction (August 5 to 26)

  • We will be holding an online Facebook auction. Please join the group, add people, and share! You can support this important fundraiser by posting a donation and/or bidding. Past offerings have included handmade and purchased items, as well as services like massage, catered meals, and grass-cutting.
